CSJob: Advanced Sampling Techniques for Next Generation Ultrasound

Yonina Eldar is looking for a highly motivated post-doctorate fellow, to work on a joint project with General Electrics. The project involves advanced sampling techniques for next generation ultrasound. The position provides a unique opportunity to conduct research on topics that are in the frontier of signal processing and sampling theory, while at the same time have direct impact on industrial applications. A very senior staff member at GE will be closely involved in the project and serve as a mentor. Upon successful completion, the results will be integrated into GEs systems. She is particularly interested in candidates with a strong signal processing background. Knowledge of sampling theory will be helpful. There is no need for a background in ultrasound as we will be working closely with GE staff. An initial contract of 1 year duration will be offered to the successful candidate, with a possibility of extension.
