CS: Random Food For Thought

Ever wondered how astronauts flying at 300 kms above the ground on the international space station could take a shot like this one ?


Well they not only have access to the latest gear, they also have access to interesting telescopic lenses as can be seen on this shot:



As some of you know, I am interested in using some of this gear that is already on orbit to propose some type of random lens imager system. The proposed system would make full use of what is already up. This is a follow-up thread to this one.
